Gateway South Development

Gateway South Development was annexed into the City of Cheyenne in 2006.  The following year, a 96-room Marriott Springhill Suites Hotel (pictured below left) was built on a two acre pad at the north end of the subdivision.  On the south side of Fox Farm Road, the 42 acre tract was graded and leveled.  Jefferson Road was extended from South Greeley Highway to Walterscheid Road and the development's drainage projects were completed. 

Construction of the 220-unit Sundance Apartments (pictured below right) was completed in Fall 2010.  Sundance is Cheyenne's newest upscale residential rental complex, with clubhouse, pool, workout room, walking trails and playground equipment on 12 lovely landscaped acres.  This is Cheyenne's first major unsubsidized apartment construction project in nearly two decades and is now 100% occupied.

The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne acquired 11 acres at the south end of Gateway South for a clubhouse and athletic fields.  The outdoor recreational fields are in place and plans are underway for the construction of an $8 million indoor recreational facility with ample space for meetings and activities.
